Cucumber salad. Pasteurized vegetables in a sweet and sour brine.
Easy Salad: pour the contents of the jar into a salad bowl, add spices to taste, and serve. Tzatziki: drain the cucumbers, mix in thick yogurt, crushed garlic, chopped dill, pepper, and olive oil. Serve with olives if desired. With Sweet Cream: drain the cucumbers (you can keep some of the brine for extra flavor), add sweet cream and seasonings to taste.
